Glitter gets!

Yesterday Rin and I took a break from our normal "stay at home and work" routine and went to the mall! We went because we got a new shop in one of our malls ~ Glitter! I had never been to one before, but I was impressed with their incredibly cheap prices. When I told Rin we got one, her reaction was "LETS GO." So we did.

CHECK IT. Rin got new shoes. BLACK WEDGE ANKLE BOOTS. I want a pair so badly! I'm afraid I won't get any for Christmas, and that I won't be able to find any by the time I can afford them T_T

There are no pictures of me because I pretty much looked like a dike that day. I had spent the morning painting the outside of my house. I do cringe to go into public like that, but oh well. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the sake of shopping!

Glitter had a really huge store! It was pretty amazing. Almost everything in there was $1, with a few exceptions on nicer quality items, and larger accessories. The most expensive price we saw was $7.99!

They also had a pretty wide variety of styles. I admit, I love the little girl section, and bought a few things from there.

Lover's Day pt 1

Hello Candy Lovers!

Did you enjoy Lover's Day?  We certainly hope so.  If not, then please enjoy as we share with you our festivities for the candy-themed holiday in our this year's Valentine's Day Special.

Let's start with photos from our Lover's Day Date.  Our theme for this year's Valentine's Day was chocolate covered strawberries [could this also be a sneak peak at one of our upcoming lines???].  We put on our custom hch items, featuring our handmade and decorated chocolate covered strawberry charms, and paraded our festive butts around town handing out Valentines to whomever we met.

Scoping Out the ArtMart

Here in Huntsville we have a very awesome arts center called the Flying Monkey.  It encompasses a ton of different things--galleries, various stores, event venues--one of which being an Artist Market, which is held every Saturday.  This year we decided to scope it out and see if we would be interested in selling our wares there a few Saturdays before Christmas.

To Fayetteville! [again]

It's fall time again and we've got that lovely feeling.  One of our favourite things to do in the fall is to drive up to Fayetteville for pretty scenery, a cozy tea time and, of course, SHOPPING.
